About the Kaweco Lunar Sport Fountain Pen – Shadow Purple
The Kaweco Lunar Sport Fountain Pen – Shadow Purple introduces a rich, mysterious shade to the iconic Sport series. Reminiscent of delicate orchid blossoms, its dark purple body features a captivating iridescent, colour-changing finish that shifts through different tones as the light moves across the barrel. A true play of light and shadow, it looks subtly different from every angle.
Built on Kaweco's 1935 Sport design heritage, the pen is crafted from lightweight ABS plastic with the signature octagonal design that prevents rolling. Measuring a compact 10.5 cm when closed, it extends to a comfortable 12.7 cm with the cap posted. Weighing just 11 g, it feels almost weightless in the hand, ideal for writing, journaling, and note-taking.
Fitted with an interchangeable German-made 060 stainless steel nib, the Lunar Sport Fountain Pen delivers a smooth and expressive writing experience. Available in nib sizes from Extra Fine (EF) to Double Broad (BB), it can be tailored to everything from precise everyday writing to bold strokes. The screw-on cap protects the nib securely in your pocket and posts onto the back of the barrel to create a balanced, full-length writing instrument.
Supplied with a standard short ink cartridge to get you started, it arrives in a standard black Kaweco cardboard box. Personalise it with slide-on Kaweco Sport clips in gold, silver, bronze, or black, and use standard Kaweco ink cartridges or a Kaweco Mini Converter for bottled ink.
