At Pen and Tool, we are committed to delivering your creative tools safely and efficiently. All items listed on our store are in stock and typically dispatched within two business days.
Free Shipping Thresholds
- United States: Free Standard Shipping on orders over USD 150
- Rest of the World: Free Standard Shipping on orders over USD 99 (or equivalent in your local currency)

Orders are dispatched from our fulfillment hubs in Hong Kong or Taiwan. Rates are listed in USD; our system will automatically provide the conversion to your local currency during the final checkout stage.

Transparency Note (US Import Costs): Due to current tariffs on inbound parcels to the United States, carrier costs have risen significantly. We continue to absorb a large portion of these additional costs to keep our rates as fair and affordable as possible for our Standard Shipping option.
2. Our Delivery Guarantee
We take full responsibility for your order until it is confirmed as delivered by the postal service or courier.
- Lost or Returned Packages: In the very rare event that a package is confirmed as lost or returned to sender by the carrier, or if a shipment shows no tracking updates for more than 90 days, we will, at our discretion, provide either a full refund or a replacement shipment at no extra cost.
- Non-Refundable Situations: We cannot offer refunds of shipping fees if the return is caused by: incorrect address details provided by the customer, unsuccessful delivery attempts due to recipient unavailability, refusal to settle import fees/duties, or failure to claim the package within the carrier's timeframe.
- Address Accuracy: Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We cannot be held responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address.
- Transit Limitations: Once a shipment is in transit, we cannot bypass, override, or speed up the carrier’s internal postal processes.
3. Tracking & Delivery Reliability
Every order is fully tracked. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details as soon as your order is dispatched. Please check your Spam, Junk, or Promotions folder as well.
- Reliability: While international postal services are generally very reliable, occasional delays can occur, often due to weather conditions or customs processing in the destination country.
- Peak Seasons: During holidays or high-volume periods, please allow for potential additional transit time.
- Time-Sensitive Orders: For tight timeframes, we strongly suggest selecting Expedited Shipping.
- Inquiry Support: While we can initiate formal inquiries for stalled standard shipping packages, carrier response times vary. For the most timely updates, we recommend contacting your local postal service directly.
4. Customs, Duties & Taxes
United States
- Standard Shipping: We utilize a consolidated clearance network that allows us to prepay all import duties and handling fees on your behalf. You will not be charged any additional fees upon delivery.

Expedited Shipping: To ensure the fastest possible transit (3–5 days), these shipments are cleared individually by the courier. As a result, FedEx/DHL will invoice the recipient directly for applicable duties plus their own carrier disbursement fees.
(Note: Including the carrier's administrative processing fee, the total amount due upon delivery is typically approx. USD 30).
Other Countries
Most international orders arrive free of additional charges. In the rare event that customs, duties, or taxes are applied, they are typically minimal. Please note that any such local fees determined by your destination country are the responsibility of the customer.
