About the TWSBI ECO Piston Filler Fountain Pen - Cherry Blossom
The TWSBI ECO is a piston-filling fountain pen designed for everyday utility. This limited edition Cherry Blossom model is a small batch run that pairs a white cap and piston knob/finial with a crystal-clear demonstrator barrel finished with a screen-printed floral motif. Manufactured in Taiwan, the ECO provides a high-capacity internal filling mechanism alongside a utilitarian design.
The pen utilises an integrated piston mechanism, allowing users to draw ink directly from a bottle. With a capacity of approximately 1.76 ml, it provides substantial capacity between refills. The transparent resin barrel provides clear, constant visibility of both the remaining ink level and the specific ink colour in use.
Fitted with a German-made JoWo stainless steel nib, the pen features a screw-on white cap with a distinctive hexagonal profile, and the cap can be posted securely onto the back of the pen. An integrated inner seal protects the nib from drying out during periods of inactivity.
In keeping with TWSBI’s approach to tool maintenance, the ECO is designed to be user-serviceable. Each pen is supplied with a custom metal wrench and a vial of silicone grease, allowing owners to disassemble, clean, and lubricate the piston mechanism at home.
