About the Kaweco Lunar Sport Clutch Pencil – Light Blue
The Kaweco Lunar Sport Clutch Pencil – Light Blue introduces a refined finish to the iconic Sport series. Inspired by the changing appearance of the moon, the soft blue body features a captivating iridescent effect that reveals delicate blue and purple tones as the surface catches the light.
Built on Kaweco’s 1935 Sport design heritage, the pencil is crafted from lightweight ABS plastic with the signature octagonal barrel that prevents rolling and provides a comfortable grip. Its compact form makes it an ideal everyday companion for sketching, drafting, and creative work.
The drop-clutch mechanism works differently from a standard mechanical pencil: pressing the mechanism releases the internal clutch, allowing the thick 3.2 mm graphite lead to extend freely before being secured again. Supplied with a soft 5B lead, it is well suited for bold lines, shading, sketching, and drafting.
The Lunar Sport Clutch Pencil arrives in a standard black Kaweco cardboard box and can be easily personalised with slide-on Kaweco Sport clips and a variety of 3.2 mm graphite or coloured leads.
