This pen's most important characteristics are the plain and simple octagonal design. It is long and thin and was made out of ebonite, later turned celluloid was used in the old time. The SPECIAL series has proven to be a long-lasting working tool with a reasonable price. Soon this successful product series was expanded to include fountain pens as well.
The SPECIAL is made by Kaweco in an octagonal aluminium profile. This is sleekly in ones hand and combines technique with classic design. Features Leonardt 30 pointed nib, which produces fine lines and has medium flexibility, making it a good general-purpose nib for writing, drawing, and lettering.
