The Kaweco ICE Sport series combines the classic look of the Kaweco writing instruments design of 1935 with modern accents. The transparent colours offer special attractions: they are allowing a glance into the inner life of the writing instruments.

Translucent stands for the idea "to make the invisible visible". Already in the twenties Kaweco representatives were equipped with a writing instrument cross section pen model. These cross section models were made by cutting serial products in the middle in order to make the inner technique more visible.

However, this became needless in the fifties through further development of the injection moulding technique. Translucent "demonstrators" were produced instead. The ICE was developed for all people who enjoy cheerful colours and want to maintain "perspective".
